Gadsden Museum of Art & History

The exhibition at the Gadsden Museum of Art & History held a reception Friday evening Sept. 5. Outside the streets of Gadsden were alive with music, antique cars, food, and lots of folks in town for First Friday. The SAQA pieces were beautifully exhibited in the main region of the museum, well lit and with generous spacing between pieces. Grace Wever and Connie Carrington attended the reception. Visitors asked good questions and were very interested in understanding processes, techniques, and inspiration. The museum director and the volunteers are delightful.

Below are some photos from the reception, which show the excellent spacing. (Apologies for some reflections from glass surfaces between the photographer and the pieces. I wanted to show how pieces related to each other.)
